De cursus zal plaatsvinden op 10-11 juni 2024 van 09.00-17.00 uur

Day 1: Foundations and Clinical Implications

9:00 – 10:30 AM: Introduction to the Course and the Functional/Biomechanical Relationship

– Overview of the course objectives and structure.

– Introduction to the fundamental concepts of the functional and biomechanical relationship between the cranio-cervical and orofacial regions.

10:30 – 12:00 PM:

– Exploration of neurophysiological connections.

– Discussion on clinical significance and implications.

12:00 – 1:00 PM: Lunch Break

1:00 – 2:30 PM: Influence of Dental Occlusion on the Orofacial Cranio-Cervical Complex– Detailed examination of how dental occlusion affects the orofacial cranio-cervical complex

2:30 – 4:00 PM: Influence of the  Orofacial  region on the Cervical region and vica versa .

4:00 – 5:00 PM: Practical Session: Assessment Techniques

Hands-on practice of assessment techniques inspired by the teachings of Mariano Rocabado and Harry von Piekartz.

Day 2: Advanced Concepts and Practical Application

9:00 – 10:30 AM: Functional Differentiation Tests: Craniocervical Region vs. TMJ

– Introduction to functional differentiation tests.

– Practice session on identifying differences between the craniocervical region and the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).

10:30 – 12:00 PM: The Dynamic World of Cranioneurodynamics: Where Are We Now?

– Overview of current concepts and research in cranioneurodynamics.

– Discussion on the integration of concepts from Mariano Rocabado and Harry von Piekartz.

12:00 – 1:00 PM: Lunch Break

1:00 – 2:30 PM: Practical Assessments and Treatment Examples

– Interactive session featuring real patient cases.

– Demonstrations of assessment and treatment strategies, highlighting innovative approaches.

2:30 – 4:00 PM: Future Assessments Treatments and innovation

– Presentation of emerging ideas and technologies in assessment and treatment.

4:00 – 5:00 PM: Integrative Workshop and Questions and Answers ( Q&A)

– An integrative workshop to apply learned concepts in complex case studies.

– Open Q&A session to address any remaining questions and to facilitate discussion on implementing these approaches in clinical practice.

This schedule balances theoretical knowledge with practical application, ensuring participants gain a comprehensive understanding of the subjects. By integrating the work of Mariano Rocabado and Harry von Piekartz, the program emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment within the fields of biomechanics, neurophysiology, and cranio-cervical and orofacial health.
